Frequently Asked Questions

How can I register?
You may register online or download a registration form and fax it to 859.219.3514 or mail to Receptive Services Association of America - 2365 Harrodsburg Road, Suite A325 Lexington, KY 40504.

Do you confirm registration?
Confirmations are sent to all registrants via email to the address provided on the registration form within 7 days of receipt. If you have questions about your registration, please contact us at headquarters@rsana.com.

Which registration form do I need?
Regular members (receptives) - Companies engaged in the management of receptive tour services that are a registered U.S. corporation, partnership, or company engaged primarily in providing wholesale receptive services to non-U.S. members of the travel industry.

Associate members (suppliers) - Organizations such as government agencies, educational institutions, domestic tour companies, travel trade associations and firms engaged in selling products or services to receptive tour operators.

What is the dress code?
The dress code for the Summit is business casual. Business dress will be suitable for the Gala.

May I bring a guest to the Gala?
Guests may attend the Gala at an additional cost per person.

What is the Marketplace?
The Summit Marketplace provides receptives and suppliers the opportunity to meet for one-on-one 10 minute pre-schedules appointments. Suppliers can update receptives with what their venue has to offer and why they should be featured in tariffs. Receptives can interact with current suppliers as well as new ones.

How do I participate in pre-scheduled Marketplace appointments?
Participants who have pre-scheduled will receive notification from RSAA via email directing them to an online form for making their appointment selections. Appointments will be scheduled by RSAA based first on mutual requests, followed by receptive tour operator requests. A minimum of two open appointments per session is built into receptive and supplier schedules. Attendees are responsible for submitting their appointment selections online.

Help! I registered after the deadline. Can I still participate in the Marketplace?
Absolutely! Shop and Drop sessions are held prior to each Marketplace. Suppliers have the opportunity to approach receptive tour operators to schedule appointments for open time slots or cancel appointments by mutual agreement.

I'm a new supplier at the Marketplace. Is there any assistance available for me?
Yes. Marketplace experienced suppliers will be on hand to provide guidance and answer any questions you may have.

How can my company receive additional exposure at the Summit Conference?
RSAA offers many sponsorship opportunities available at many levels to suit a variety of budgets with packages beginning at $500. For more information on sponsorships contact RSAA at sales@rsana.com. RSAA is also hosting its 11th Annual Silent Auction. The 2011 Silent Auction will benefit Tourism Cares.

May I register on-site?
